King & Wood Mallesons has strengthened its Native Title practice with the lateral appointment of partner Scott Singleton.

Singleton joins the firm’s Brisbane office from Minter Ellison where he led the Native Title practice and was a prominent partner in the firm’s energy and resources group.

In addition to his Native Title and Indigenous cultural heritage expertise, Singleton brings with him a wealth of experience and specialist skills in mining and petroleum tenure and operational mining; land access; climate change and renewable energy; as well as mining associated corporate and commercial work.

Singleton held senior positions in the Queensland Government prior to joining Minter Ellison.
