South Australian firm Cowell Clarke has added two specialist lawyers to its team.

Barrister, solicitor, arbitrator and mediator Ian Nosworthy has joined the practice as a consultant. He practices as an arbitrator and mediator focusing on construction and engineering disputes, as well as a wide range of insurance and commercial litigation. He is a life fellow and past national president of the Institute of Arbitration and Mediation Australia, a Grade One Arbitrator, and a nationally-accredited mediator.

The firm has also welcomed Michael Hourigan as a general counsel. Hourigan began his legal career as a Crown Prosecutor in the South Australian Department of Public Prosecutions before working overseas, particularly in the United States where he acted as Special Legal Counsel to a member of the United States Congress. More recently Hourigan has developed a commercial legal practice in Adelaide.
