Gilbert + Tobin Perth has added a new partner to the ranks. King & Wood Mallesons associate Sarah Turner has joined the firm as a corporate advisory partner.

Her expertise covers a broad range of matters, including securities, takeovers, schemes of arrangement, share acquisitions and general corporate advisory and governance work. She has advised on a number of high profile transactions including the Brambles PAITREO, various IAG capital raisings, the Spark Group restructure, the IAG takeover defence against QBE and the attempted takeover of Qantas by Airline Partners Australia.

Since the partners of Blakiston & Crabb joined Gilbert + Tobin in July 2011, Gilbert + Tobin’s Perth office has seen rapid growth in its corporate advisory practice. Recent additions to the team include special counsel Jarod Benson, senior associate Kobi Devenish and lawyers Ailyn Choo, Gail Spark, Jessica Karasinski and Katie Davis.
