RHTLaw Taylor Wessing has hired M. Sornarajah, a legal academic and accomplished international arbitrator, as a senior consultant.

Sornarajah is the CJ Koh Professor at the Faculty of Law of the National University of Singapore, a Fellow of the Australian Centre for International Commercial Arbitration (ACICA), and a regional panel member of the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC). He has appeared in several investment arbitrations, either as arbitrator or as counsel, and has published extensively in public international law and international investment law.

“At present, we have senior consultant, Mr LP Thean, a former Court of Appeal judge, who does the international arbitration work,” said Subhas Anandan, senior partner of RHTLaw Taylor Wessing, in a statement. “The addition of Prof. Sornarajah augments RHTLaw Taylor Wessing's strength and depth in this area, and enhances the capabilities of our litigation and dispute resolution practice.”
