Colin Biggers & Paisley (CBP) continues its expansion with the appointment of five new partners. Three of the new partners are through internal promotions within the insurance team while the other two are lateral hires. New construction partner Jonathan Stafford  will be joining the firm from Clayton Utz where he was a special counsel in February while insurance partner Jonathan Newby has joined from McCabes.

Sydney-based Melissa Fenton and Kemsley Brennan and Melbourne-based Patrick Tuohey were promoted to the partnership on 1 January 2013. "The recent law firm surveys have shown that ours is the fastest-growing legal practice in Australia and the new partner appointments are continuing that growth,” added managing partner Dunstan de Souza.
