Linklaters has hired corporate specialist William Kirschner as a partner at its Singapore office from White & Case.

Kirschner, who focuses on M&As, has experience in the Southeast Asian region, particularly Indonesia. His clients include private equity houses, corporates and investment banks.

“We are delighted that Will has agreed to join us,” said Stuart Salt, Linklaters’ regional managing partner for Asia, in a statement. “We know him well, and have regarded him for some time as one of the leading M&A practitioners in the region. His particular experience in both private equity and Southeast Asia fits really well with our objectives to develop still further our offering to clients in these key areas.”

Aside from Kirschner, the Linklaters corporate team in Singapore comprises partners Stuart Bedford, Miles Curley and Sophie Mathur.
