Selvam LLC, a constituent firm of Duane Morris & Selvam, has hired litigation specialist Sarbjit Singh Chopra as director and co-head of the litigation department in Singapore. Chopra joins from Lim & Lim.

Chopra focuses his practice in litigation and arbitration. He has handled a wide range of cases from construction disputes to shareholder actions. He advises clients on strategies for dispute resolution through litigation, arbitration, mediation and other methods of dispute resolution.

Chopra has represented lawyers in disciplinary proceedings, and has also acted in a wide range of matters to appear in court as counsel instructed by other law firms.

"Sarbjit is a great addition to our already strong litigation practice," said Arfat Selvam, managing director of Duane Morris & Selvam, in a statement. "His extensive experience in commercial and finance-related matters further strengthens our ability to serve our clients."

Chopra is a member of the Law Society of Singapore and a member of the Singapore Academy of Law.
