Herbert Smith Freehills has promoted 19 new partners worldwide, of whom three are in Asia, and also relocated a partner from Sydney to Singapore.

In Hong Kong, Simon Chapman has been promoted in the international arbitration practice, while ECM and U.S. securities lawyer Siddhartha Sivaramakrishnan has been promoted in Singapore. In Beijing, corporate/energy partner Monica Sun has been elevated.

“I’d like to congratulate all the new partners,” said Gavin Bell, Herbert Smith Freehills' joint chief executive, in a statement. “The Asia-Pacific region, including Australia, will be one of the key growth areas in the world over the next decade and our clients recognise we foster the right talent to maintain a seamless service across the region and the world.”

Additionally, corporate partner Nicola Yeomans has moved from Sydney to Singapore.
