Indian law firm Khaitan Sud & Partners (KS Partners) has appointed ex-Bajaj Allianz in-house counsel Ashutosh Singh as partner to bolster its insurance practice, and also brought former ALMT senior associate Preeti Balwani on board at its Mumbai office to enhance its corporate advisory group.
Additionally, it has promoted principal associate Deepak Khurana to partnership in its litigation practice.
While Singh specialises in motor claims and consumer litigation, Khurana’s areas of expertise are corporate and commercial litigation. Singh joins KS Partners after working for Bajaj Allianz for five years, and Khurana has been with the firm for more than six years now.
Established in 1997, KS Partners focuses on litigation and litigation management services, with additional capabilities in insurance, project finance, banking and general corporate advisory. The firm has principal offices in Delhi and Mumbai, and associate offices in Allahabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Chandigarh, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kolkata and Pune.
The new appointments take the total number of partners at KS Partners to 12.
