Indian law firm Dua Associates has promoted four lawyers to partnership, including one equity partner in Robin David, and also hired Priya Christian as a retained competition partner from Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer.

David, worked both as an independent counsel, and with Parekh & Co and J. Sagar Associates before joining Dua Associates.

Christian worked at Freshfields’ Brussels office where she investigated and advised on global mergers in the telecommunications, railway, energy and media sectors. Prior to her Freshfields stint, she was with Watson, Farley & Williams as a competition associate where she worked on competition and merger control cases in the media, aviation and consumer business sectors.

Dua Associates also promoted three others to retained partner: Nishant Srivastava and Nirvaan Gupta in Singapore, and Alok Tiwari in New Delhi.
