Amarchand Mangaldas has hired Rahul Sarella as the resident partner of its Hyderabad office from Tatva Legal.

With about 17 years of experience, Sarella has expertise in M&A, private equity, JVs, capital markets and general corporate matters, and also in handling litigation. He spent seven years with Wadia Ghandy & Co and more than four years with KSB Partners, where he set up the firm’s Mumbai practice.

Rahul takes over from Anshuman Jaiswal, who has moved to the firm’s general corporate practice at its Mumbai office.

“We welcome Rahul to our firm,” said Amarchand Managing Partner Cyril Shroff in a statement. “He brings with him experience that will help us service our south-based clients (with a special focus on the Hyderabad market).”
