Baker & McKenzie.Wong & Leow has appointed Andy Leck as its new Singapore managing principal to replace Edmund Leow, who has been appointed as a judicial commissioner in Singapore’s Supreme Court.
Leck has worked at Baker & McKenzie in Singapore for 16 years, with a three-year spell in Bakers’ Hong Kong office between 1999 and 2001. He has more than 20 years of experience, specialising in IP cases including commercial exploitation and protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights. Leck currently serves on the International Trademark Association's Board of Directors, and is a member of the Singapore Copyright Tribunal.
Additionally, Eugene Lim, a partner in Baker & McKenzie's Hong Kong/China Tax Practice Group, will move to the Singapore office to become the new Head of Baker & McKenzie.Wong & Leow's Tax and Wealth Management practice.
