Mayer Brown JSM has hired Gabriela Kennedy from Hogan Lovells to oversee the firm’s IP and TMT practice in Asia.

Based in Hong Kong, Kennedy advises clients on both contentious and non-contentious IP and TMT matters, including IP strategy, broadcasting regulation, data protection and privacy, domain names, and media and telecom transactions.

Kennedy also represents clients in IP and media litigation in Hong Kong.

The arrival of Kennedy further strengthens Mayer Brown JSM’s growing Greater China practice, which hired corporate partner Betty Tam in Shanghai, and IPO expert Guoqing Li in Beijing in September.
