Taylor Wessing has named Mark Fraser as managing partner of its Dubai office. Fraser replaces Christopher Dixon, will become senior partner.

Fraser, a partner in the construction and dispute resolution team, has over 28 years experience in contentious and non-contentious construction and engineering law, arbitration and insurance law in the Middle East, UK and Hong Kong.

"I congratulate Mark on his appointment and am delighted to welcome him into the role. We have a very strong management team in place and I am confident Mark's skillset and knowledge of the wider firm will play a key role in achieving our ambitions of being the premier global law firm in the region," said Dixon in a statement.
