Indian law firm Economic Laws Practice (ELP) has appointed litigation expert Sonu Bhatnagar as a partner in its tax litigation practice in New Delhi.

Bhatnagar, who has more than 19 years of litigation experience, has represented Indian and MNC clients in the Supreme Court of India as well as high courts and tribunals.

“We are happy that someone of Sonu’s experience and eminence has joined our team. Sonu’s joining will bolster our Tax Litigation practice in Delhi,” said Rohan Shah, managing partner of ELP, in a statement.

Before commencing her own practice in 2012, Bhatnagar worked with advocate Ravinder Narain for more than 17 years. Prior to that, she was associated with J. B. Dadachanji & Co.
