Norton Rose Fulbright has relocated senior corporate partner David Baylis from London to Abu Dhabi, where he will held the firm’s corporate, M&A and securities practice in the Middle East.

Baylis has previously worked in the Middle East, having been involved in establishing Emirates Airlines and Dubai Duty Free. He focuses on private equity, in particular fund structures and MBOs/MBIs.

“This is an important time to be back in the region and to expand on our existing relationships with key Middle East entities,” said Baylis in a statement. “Business is steadily picking up in Abu Dhabi and across the region and we have been looking to strengthen our offering to clients in the corporate and private equity sphere. Abu Dhabi continues to offer us many opportunities and by strengthening our offering there we will remain at the forefront to take advantage of them.”

Norton Rose Fulbright also has offices in Bahrain, Dubai and Riyadh.
