Herbert Smith Freehills has hired financial services regulatory (FSR) specialist William Hallatt as a partner in its global FSR practice in Hong Kong.

Previously with Linklaters, Hallatt focuses on contentious FSR matters, advising financial institutions on regulatory enforcement proceedings and reviews.

Hallatt conducts internal investigations for companies, and also advises on systems and controls, conduct of business issues and anti-money laundering matters.
