Hogan Lovells has hired partner Maurice Burke as the head of its litigation and arbitration practice in Southeast Asia from Herbert Smith Freehills.

Burke, who was the head of the Southeast Asia dispute resolution practice at his previous firm, has experience advising on commercial litigation, dispute resolution, contentious regulatory and investigation matters throughout Asia, including Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia, the Philippines and Indonesia. He has particular expertise in sectors like investment and financial disputes, oil and gas and telecommunications.
