Clayton Utz has told partners and staff that it will match donations to aid victims of the Haiti earthquake, which is being heralded as the worst disaster since the 2004 tsunami.

“In response to the devastating earthquake that has affected thousands of Haitians, the Clayton Utz Foundation will match donations made by partners and staff to that appeal on a dollar for dollar basis up to A$10,000,” a spokesperson said. “Donations will be directed towards World Vision who are one of our long term pro bono clients and community partners.”

World Vision has been operating in Haiti for over thirty years and their initial relief response will focus on delivering basic needs to survivors, particularly children.
