Queensland law firm McCullough Robertson is continuing its expansion in Newcastle and has appointed resources and property lawyer Michelle Sirasch to help meet growing client demand for property services, as part of their resources and infrastructure activities.

“Land access and acquisition continue to be key issues for project proponents, including resources companies,” said Sirasch. “Major infrastructure projects, either in planning or in construction delivery, have property-related issues which are crucial to their successful execution.”

Sirasch has worked in the Newcastle region throughout her legal career with a broad range of clients, including resources companies, infrastructure providers, individual and national developers, local councils and other government authorities. “Developers are also looking forward to growth in new projects in 2010 as the local economy recovers and the need to address housing shortages returns to the state agenda,” she said.
