Freehills executive counsel Andrea Wookey has joined TressCox as a partner in the Melbourne office.

Wookey has broad banking, finance and corporate skills developed while working across Australia and Asia in the areas of corporate, acquisition, project and property finance, acting for both lenders and borrowers.

She has been involved in a wide range of general corporate advisory matters including assisting numerous multinational corporations with the establishment and expansion of their activities internationally.  She has also worked on a significant number of ‘big ticket’ projects and property transactions in Australia, Vietnam, Indonesia and Singapore. Executive counsel is a title given to lawyers at Freehills who play an adjunct-leadership function within the firm to partners, with a particular focus on legal and practice management, client relationships, and project management.

Wookey is the third partner appointment in the past few months for TressCox.
