London-headquartered Olswang, which specialises in technology, media and telecom (TMT), has relocated partner Andrew Stott from London to its recently opened Asia office in Singapore. Stott’s arrival has taken the total number of partners at the Singapore office to four, and the total number of lawyers there to six.

Stott, who specialises in international M&As and corporate finance, joins managing partner Rob Bratby and partners Elle Todd and Jonathan Choo, a former DLA Piper lawyer, in the office.

Olswang, which has been operating in Asia since November 2011, counts Tune Hotels, euNetworks, Tony Fernandes, Visa, Tata, Telstra, PayPal and Microsoft among its clients.

“Singapore was a natural choice for us as a regional hub,” said Bratby in a statement. “Many of our existing clients have their headquarters for the region here, and Singapore's dynamic international business-friendly outlook mirrors our own. We welcome Andrew to the team, and look forward to continued success in this exciting part of the world.”

Olswang’s Asia office is expected to service clients in the ASEAN, India and China. ALB
