Perth-based Lavan Legal has secured international construction counsel, Donald (Don) Turley. 

Turley is a senior construction and infrastructure specialist with more than 30 years of experience in major energy, infrastructure and construction projects across Dubai, Australia and New Zealand.  He is skilled in managing commercial projects as project counsel from the outset through to completion.

Prior to his move to Perth he was at Clyde & Co as a consultant in the Riyadh office of an associate firm in Saudi Arabia, Abdulaziz. He is also the former head of the construction practice of Taylor Wessing in Dubai, prior to which he held the position of senior manager within the legal department of Tatweer Dubai. He has appeared as counsel for clients in a wide range of commercial litigation that has been resolved by alternative dispute resolution processes such as mediation, court proceedings or arbitration.
