Perth-based Allion Legal is launching into litigation following the appointment of experienced litigator, Dirk Fairweather.

Allion has previously referred client litigious work to other firms, including Maxim Litigation where Fairweather worked prior to the majority of partners at the firm moving to Lavan Legal earlier this year. “Dirk’s appointment to Allion is extremely opportune and allows us to progress our strategy to be a leading corporate WA law firm,” said Philip Lucas, managing principal.

Lucas added that the firm plans to grow the groups’ size in the coming year with five or more litigation professionals. “We have a fairly aggressive plan for that practice,” he said.“With a total of 11 principals and over 50 professional staff, Allion is well placed to benefit from the opportunities being opened up in this exciting time,” said Lucas.

Dirk will commence with Allion at the beginning of July.
