UK-headquartered law firm Simmons & Simmons plans to open an office in Singapore, with a tentative launch date set for the first half of 2013.

A spokesperson told ALB that the firm had applied for a licence to open in the city-state.

Singapore will be Simmons & Simmons’ fifth office in Asia, after Beijing, Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Tokyo.
