Patton Boggs has taken its total number of offices in the MENA region to four after opening a permanent office in Dubai with three lawyers from Kilpatrick Townsend.



The lawyers joining Patton Boggs in Dubai from Kilpatrick Townsend are partner Thomas P. Wilson, of counsel Scott Hutton and associate Jonathan M. Taunton. Wilson will head Patton Boggs’ construction practice in the region.



The new office will focus on the construction and infrastructure sector in the region, particularly on public and private capital improvement projects, dispute resolution, contract negotiations and related transactions, contract compliance issues, and project risk management and mitigation.

Newberry, managing partner of Patton Boggs, in a statement. “Our move into Dubai fulfills another of our key strategic objectives for MENA, toward expanding and strengthening our capabilities to best meet the needs of public as well as private sector clients.”



Aside from the new Dubai location, Patton Boggs has offices in Doha and Abu Dhabi, and an affiliate office in Riyadh.
