Japan’s Nishimura & Asahi is opening two more offices in Southeast Asia, in Yangon and Bangkok, as it looks to solidify its presence in this part of the world. It is also opening a fourth domestic office in Fukuoka.

The Yangon office will open next month, while the Bangkok office is expected in July.

“The opening of our office in Myanmar, which is attracting attention as a fast-growing emerging market, and our office in Thailand, which many Japanese companies are making inroads into, is in line with our commitment to respond to our clients' needs and expand our network in Asia,” the firm said in an emailed statement.

Nishimura & Asahi currently has offices in Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Singapore and Beijing to go with its Japanese branches in Tokyo, Osaka and Nagoya.
