A possible merger between King & Wood Mallesons and Singapore’s WongPartnership collapsed at the last minute when the latter’s equity partners rejected the financial terms, the Australian Financial Review has reported.
AFR added that the merger was due to have been announced two months ago when it fell apart. The publication also said that KWM has been in protracted merger talks with British firm SJ Berwin that are yet to be finalised.
