Corrs Chambers Westgarth has signed up as a major tenant of a new office tower planned for Perth’s Brookfield Place precinct. The firm has signed an agreement with Brookfield to lease two floors in the new 123 St Georges Terrace development, also known as Brookfield Place Tower 2. The development is due for completion in late 2015. Corrs will also be relocating in Sydney and Melbourne. The Sydney office will relocate as flagship tenants of 8 Chifley Square later this year while the firm’s Melbourne office will take space in the new 26-level premium tower at 567 Collins Street in mid 2015. Other firms are also on the move in Sydney. As previously reported in ALB, DLA Piper will relocate to Charter Hall’s No.1 Martin Place tower; TressCox recently made the move to MLC Centre, off Martin Place, while Ashurst has signed on for a 10 year lease at a new development at 5 Martin Place.
