Trowers & Hamlins has advised Oman’s Renaissance Services on the sale of its UAE oil and gas services company, Topaz Oil and Gas Ltd, to the UK-based Interserve for $46 million, with Ashurst representing the buyer.

The Trowers team was led by Abu Dhabi partner Guy Danalis, who was aided by TMT partner Saleem Adam. The Ashurst team was led by Abu Dhabi managing partner and head of corporate Alastair Holland.

Topaz Oil and Gas Ltd provides oilfield maintenance, fabrication and construction services in the Middle East, and has extensive fabrication space spanning 140,000 square metres split between two manufacturing sites in Abu Dhabi and Fujairah.
