Herbert Smith Freehills has opted to retain Aderant as a provider of its practice management software, UK publication The Lawyer has reported.  The decision came after the firm conducted a review of its requirements following the merger of Herbert Smith LLP and Freehills, both existing clients of Aderant.

The firm will move to Aderant Expert 8.0, introducing a series of modules over the next two years, including solutions relating to matter planning, paperless billing, conflicts, expenses and business intelligence.
