Norton Rose Fulbright has made 30 Australian staff, including 12 lawyers and 18 support staff, redundant. The decision took effect on 14 November. The firm said that, other than confirming that the cuts had occurred, there would be no further details released on the offices or practice areas affected.
“This was a difficult decision and we are doing all that we can to support those affected,” a spokesperson said, adding that the changes were a local response to local market conditions and that Australia was the only region affected by these changes.
