Quinn Emanuel has announced that Beau Deleuil will join the firm as a partner in its Sydney office. Before joining Quinn Emanuel, Deleuil was a partner in the Sydney office of King & Wood Mallesons, where he was the global coordinator of the dispute resolution group. He leaves KWM in March 2014.

Prior to holding that post, Deleuil had been the national head of dispute resolution at Mallesons. He also served as managing partner of Mallesons' Perth office. He joins Michael Mills and Michelle Fox, previously of Herbert Smith Freehills, at the international disputes firm.

Managing partner John Quinn said: “We are delighted that a lawyer of Beau's stature has joined us. Beau instinctively understood the benefits of our firm. He is a litigator first and foremost. With Beau joining Michael and Michelle, we now have three of Australia's top commercial litigation lawyers leading our Australian litigation team.”
