Bracewell & Giuliani has hired energy expert Clint Steyn as a partner in its Dubai office from Chadbourne & Parke.
Steyn, who has more than 20 years of experience advising clients on power transactions including bids, acquisitions and disposals in the Middle East and Africa, also served as regional general counsel for energy company International Power.
“Clint is an extremely well respected attorney throughout the Middle East and Africa and we are delighted to have him join us,” said Christopher Williams, managing partner of Bracewell's Dubai office, in a statement. “His arrival will significantly broaden the office's energy experience and our offering to our clients. It is an exciting time for both the office and the firm's global energy practice.”
Bracewell has also hired eight new energy partners in London as it looks to expand its global energy offering.
