Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld has advised Banglalink Digital Communications, the second-largest mobile network operator in Bangladesh, on its $300 million senior notes offering due 2019 on the Singapore Exchange.

This is the first ever international bond issuance from Bangladesh.

London corporate partners Lisa Hearn and Fred Heller led the Akin Gump team that advised Banglalink.

White & Case advised Citigroup Global Markets Inc, the sole bookrunner on the transaction.

Hong Kong partner Anna-Marie Slot, London partners Rob Mathews and Jill Concannon, and New York partner Raymond Simon led the White & Case team.
