Norton Rose Fulbright has expanded its Singapore office by relocating corporate partner Nick Dingemans from Moscow to Singapore.
Dingemans, who will lead the firm’s corporate team in Singapore, specialises in cross-border transactions in oil and gas, mining, and financial institutional sectors where he has advised on acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures, and general corporate and commercial work.
Dingemans’ relocation follows the firm’s hire of corporate partner Sheela Moorthy from DLA Piper in Singapore in April.
“Singapore is one of the world’s most important commodity trading centres. It is the leading oil hub in Asia and the Singapore government is currently promoting the development of Singapore as a LNG hub,” said Simon Currie, global head of energy at Norton Rose Fulbright, in a statement.
“With many energy and natural resources companies moving their global trading business to Singapore, Nick’s industry knowledge and experience in this sector will help our clients develop the opportunities presented by the growth of this critical hub,” added Currie in the statement.
