Asian Legal Business is pleased to announce that The Macallan will be the official event partner for the 13th annual The Macallan ALB Hong Kong Law Awards 2014.

The Macallan ALB Hong Kong Law Awards 2014 will be held on Friday Sep. 5 at the Conrad Hotel in Hong Kong. The annual event will be attended by senior business leaders, investment bankers, solicitors, judges, and CEOs and CFOs from Hong Kong and beyond.

The Awards recognise the excellence and achievements of North Asia’s leading law firms and their lawyers, as well as in-house counsel.

Baker & McKenzie is leading the pack with a total of 16 nominations, including 14 for individual firm awards. The firm is closely followed by Deacons and King Wood & Mallesons with 13 nominations each, and Hogan Lovells and Herbert Smith Freehills with 12 nods each. In addition, Mayer Brown JSM is listed in 11 separate law firm categories in 2014.

Among the in-house categories, Citic Capital is nominated for six separate awards, while MTR Corp and COSCO Pacific have four and three nominations, respectively.
