Ashurst had expanded its Hong Kong office by hiring capital markets partner Anna-Marie Slot from White & Case, where she led the firm’s regional high-yield practice.

Slot, who joins Ashurst’s global finance division, advises on underwriter-driven, corporate high-yield debt issuance.

“Anna-Marie is regularly involved in high profile transactions across the region for a range of top-tier underwriters and issuer clients,” said Paul Jenkins, co-head of Ashurst’s global finance division, in a statement.

Slot’s hire follows the appointments of capital markets partner Nigel Pridmore in Hong Kong, banking and finance partner Kate Allchurch in Singapore in May, and finance partner Jennifer Schlosser in Sydney.
