Hogan Lovells has hired M&A lawyer Steven Tran from Kirkland & Ellis as a partner in the firm’s Hong Kong office.

Tran specialises in private equity and M&A across a range of sectors, and has advised private equity houses, funds and corporates on domestic and multi-jurisdictional cross-border transactions.

Tran’s appointment follows Hogan Lovells’ hire of Hong Kong TMT partner Mark Parsons from Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in January.

Hogan Lovells now has 20 partners at its Hong Kong office.
