Offshore law firm Collas Crill, which has offices in Jersey, Guernsey, London and Singapore, is set to expand its reach to the Cayman Islands following a merger with local firm Charles Adams Ritchie & Duckworth (CARD).

The merger, which will take effect next year, will see the firm trading as Collas Crill & CARD for a transitional period in the Cayman Islands, and as Collas Crill elsewhere.

“This news will be especially well received by our clients in Asia, who have been asking for a dedicated Cayman offering,” said Collas Crill Managing Partner Jason Romer in a statement. “CARD already has a great reputation generally and significant client base in Singapore and the Far East. The opportunity to offer both a Cayman Islands and Channel Islands solution to clients, particularly for funds and private wealth management, is great news.”
