Ropes & Gray has recruited litigator Andrew Dale from Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe as a partner in the firm’s Hong Kong office.

Dale, who is qualified to practice in both Hong Kong and England and Wales, specialises in litigation, arbitration, corporate investigation and anti-corruption matters.

He has advised both international and domestic clients on investigations by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, and acts for a wide range of companies in litigation, arbitration and mediation cases.

Dale joins Ropes & Gray from Orrick, where he had been a partner in the firm’s Hong Kong office since 2010.

In addition to Dale, Ropes & Gray expanded its real estate investments and transactions practice in January with the hire of partner Eduard Sheremeta from DLA Piper in Hong Kong.
