Norton Rose Fulbright has hired corporate and capital markets lawyer David Johnson as a partner in its Hong Kong office.
Johnson advises both issuers and financial institutions on a range of debt and equity capital markets transactions, and represents clients on M&A, reorganisations and privatisations.
He will lead Norton Rose Fulbright’s U.S. securities team in Asia, with a focus on the debt and equity capital markets in Southeast Asia.
Johnson joins Norton Rose Fulbright from K&L Gates’ Hong Kong office, where he had been a partner since 2013. Prior to that, he was a partner at Allen & Overy in Hong Kong for 11 years.
