Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer has strengthened its capital markets practice with the hire of David Ludwick as a partner in Hong Kong.

Ludwick advises corporates and financial institutions on both debt and equity capital market transactions, including IPOs, private placements and rights issues. 

Ludwick joins Freshfields from Linklaters’ Hong Kong office, where he was a partner.

In 1998, Ludwick joined Linklaters as an associate in the firm’s New York office, before moving to London a year later. He was promoted to the firm’s partnership in 2005, and relocated to Hong Kong in 2009.
