Weil, Gotshal & Manges has hired private equity partner Tim Gardner from Latham & Watkins in the firm’s Hong Kong office.

Gardner, who was a partner at Latham & Watkins, advises both local and international clients on M&A and private equity transactions.

Before joining Latham & Watkins in 2006, he worked in Goldman Sachs’ Financial Institutions Group in New York, where he focused on M&A matters.

With the addition of Gardner, Weil Gotshal now has seven partners based in Hong Kong.
