Mayer Brown JSM has strengthened its corporate and securities practice with the hire of Thomas Kollar in Hong Kong.

Kollar specialises in debt and equity capital markets work, including high yield bond issuances, IPOs, equity placements and rights issues.

Kollar joins Mayer Brown JSM from Clifford Chance, where he was a foreign legal consultant in the firm’s Hong Kong office.

The recruitment of Kollar is Mayer Brown’s third partner addition to its Hong Kong office this year. The firm hired corporate and real estate partner Kwon Lee from Lee International IP & Law Group in February, and brought banking and finance partner Vincent Sum on board from the now-defunct Bingham McCutchen in January.
