Malaysian law firm Lee Hishammuddin Allen & Gledhill has set up a shipping and oil and gas practice, led by senior partner Datuk D.P. Naban.

Naban, who has 33 years of litigation experience, leads a four-member team that has experience in handling contentious and non-contentious matters relating to both wet and dry shipping, including marine insurance, international trade, offshore services, judicial sale and purchase of ships, flagging of vessel and towage of FPSO.

The team has also worked on shipbuilding contract disputes, cargo claims, charterparty disputes and arrest of vessels and hijack of cargoes.

The other partners in the shipping practice are Andrew Chiew Ean Vooi and Mong Chung Seng.
