Hadiputranto, Hadinoto & Partners, Baker & McKenzie’s member firm in Indonesia, has named Erwandi Hendarta as its new managing partner, with Bakers’ member firms in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Jakarta also elected a new chairman.

Hendarta succeeds Wimbanu Widyatmoko, who had been managing partner of HHP since July 2011. With more than 30 years of experience working in the commercial and financial sectors, Hendarta is a senior partner and head of the firm’s finance and projects team, a post he will continue to hold in his new role.

He works across multiple legal practice areas, encompassing infrastructure, bank loans and other debt borrowings, project/acquisition finance, M&A of banks and financial companies.

Additionally, HHP senior partner Timur Sukirno, who is head of the firm’s commercial dispute resolution practice group, has been named chairman of Baker & McKenzie's three member firms in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Jakarta. He succeeds Wong Kien Keong of Baker & McKenzie.Wong & Leow in Singapore, who had also founded Wong & Partners, the member firm of Baker & McKenzie in Malaysia.
