Holman Fenwick Willan (HFW) has set its sights on Indonesia after hiring Haydn Dare as a partner from Hiswara Bunjamin & Tandjung, Herbert Smith Freehills’ alliance firm in the Southeast Asian country.
A spokesperson said that Dare, who has worked in the Asia-Pacific region for more than 20 years, is currently based in Indonesia “where the firm sees significant opportunities and he will be actively seeking to establish an HFW office there.”
Dare specialises in structuring foreign investment and in energy and mineral resources, infrastructure and project finance, and mergers and acquisition transactions. He has experience in such as financial services, infrastructure and resources.
“Adding Haydn Dare to the team significantly strengthens the firm's commercial offering and highlights the firm's commitment to expansion in the Asia-Pacific region,” said Richard Crump, HFW's senior partner in a statement.
Recently, the firm entered into a formal law alliance in Singapore with AsiaLegal. The alliance operates under the name HFW AsiaLegal.
