Eversheds has hired Charles Butcher as a partner in the firm’s corporate practice in Hong Kong.

Butcher, who has been based in Hong Kong since 2007, specialises in M&A, private equity, venture capital, financing and restructuring work, with a particular focus on the TMT, healthcare and natural resources industries.

Before joining Eversheds, Butcher was a consultant at Hogan Lovells.

With the addition of Butcher, Eversheds now has 12 partners in Hong Kong. The firm’s Asia corporate practice comprises 30 lawyers, including eight partners.
