Norton Rose Fulbright has expanded its corporate team in Hong Kong with the appointment of Terence Lau as a corporate and equity capital markets partner.
Lau, whose experience spans almost two decades, was previously with Hogan Lovells, where he was a partner. His practice covers equity offerings, IPOs, M&A, private equity, share repurchases and regulatory and compliance matters.
“Terence is a senior and leading practitioner in the Hong Kong market and will make an excellent addition to the existing capital markets and corporate team,” said Phillip John, Norton Rose Fulbright’s head of North Asia, in a statement.
Lau’s hire comes after the firm welcomed David Johnson as partner in March and promoted James Parker and Allan Yee to partner in May. The firm’s Hong Kong office now comprises 23 partners, including 13 in the corporate team.
